"Such a beautifully designed accommodation in a delightful setting with lovely walks right from the door. Hot tub was fabulous too! Pippa our host was an instant friend and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible and was so thoughtful leaving us freshly baked bread, fizz and fresh eggs from her hens - lovely! We did not want to leave and are looking forward to returning! Thanks again for a wonderful week at The Old Piggery!"

"The old piggery was an absolute delight! I loved our stay here at the cottage it really felt like I was out of the UK. Pippa was such a lovely host and took care of all of our needs. We were greeted with a Prosecco in the fridge followed by fresh eggs and bread. It truly was a lovely stay and would definitely be back. Pippa has done an amazing job of keeping the place spotless with the comfiest beds! Thanks for a great stay!"

"It was wonderful and so relaxing! The little touches you left when we arrived were so nice and would recommend it to anyone! Hopefully we will be back soon and coming from West Yorkshire it was 100% worth the 4 hour drive!

"We had a fantastic family break at The Joiners Rest. The accommodation is perfect and the local area has so much to do for the whole family in every direction.
Pippa (the owner) welcomed us with a fresh loaf of bread that she had baked herself that morning and she'd put a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge to chill for us, both lovely touches that were unexpected but very much appreciated.
We highly recommend The Joiners Rest!"

"The Piggery is absolutely beautiful a great piece of architecture. Pippa is a wonderful host. She couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. If you want a peaceful rural break this is the place. We had a fantastic stay despite atrocious weather!"

"A really fantastic break - just what we needed.
Pippa, the owner of The Old Piggery was incredibly welcoming on our arrival and was on hand if we needed her throughout our stay. Our accommodation was superb, spotlessly clean and very modern. Lovely comfy bed and a hot tub.... for our arrival Pippa had very kindly left us some delicious homemade bread and some freshly laid eggs from her chickens.. and a bottle of ice cold Prosecco in the fridge.. we will most certainly be back.. Thank you for a lovely break."

"We had a perfect stay at chapel cottage, the accommodation is beautiful, with a great hot tub to top it off. The owner, Pippa is so lovely! We will definitely return although I imagine it will get booked up really quickly once people discover it!"

"What a hidden gem!! We stayed at The Joiner's Rest for 3 nights and it was such a tonic. Immaculately clean. The hot tub was truly fabulous - really high spec and a touch of luxury. The property is very stylish and well done. Pippa was such a lovely host and totally on hand to help with anything. Would thoroughly recommend."

"Me and my partner had the most wonderful stay here! From the minute we arrived everything was perfect. The location was just far out enough to feel truly away from reality, but still within driving distance from local towns and shops. The place was spotless, and the welcome of fresh eggs from the chickens on site and a freshly baked loaf was wonderful. A hot tub on the doorstep and log fire really added to the experience. Our host Pippa was fantastic and has done a great job with this location, and we’ll definitely be back!"

"We loved spending the weekend in this beautiful holiday home. The homeowners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The shops aren’t too far and you have some lovely walks right on your doorstep. The home is cosy in the evening with the fire on and hot tub is a great addition too. Will definitely be coming back again!"
